The Brick Work Is Almost Finished

The timber has been delivered for the roof so the brick work is almost complete. Things are progressing nicely.

The weather today was just gorgeous and it meant the house really came along today, see for yourself.

Room(s) To Move

We have got internal walls and we can actually walk into rooms now. This is what I have been wanting to see since day 1, very happy indeed. The roof should be on in the next 2 weeks. :) (By the way loving my kids new hair cuts!)

Up, Up, Up

The bricklayers are progressing well with most of the external brickwork completed and they are about to start backing them up with internal walls, the majority of windows are all in place too. So far we have only had 2 days where the rain was so bad that nothing could be done so we are really hoping we can be lucky enough to get the roof on without too much more bad weather.

We Have Walls

We have had lots of action going on and we are pleased with how it is all going so far. Visiting is now getting more and more exciting.

Brickwork Day 2

More work had been done today and we are loving visiting the block to see how many bricks have been laid and watching the walls go up. Lets hope the rain can stay away so it will go up quickly.

The Brickies Have Started

I got a text from Trevor yesterday saying that the Brickies were on site and it was a great feeling to know that we have finally gotten to this stage. We went and had a look in the afternoon and could see our house starting to take shape.
